BLS Certified Virtual ICU Navigator

Job Summary

Providing coordinated support in the virtual ICU, the full-time BLS Certified Virtual ICU Navigator will manage patient admissions and discharges, perform data collection and documentation, and collaborate with bedside staff in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient experience by performing clerical, call center, and clinical support duties
• Conduct continuous patient observation and collaborate with healthcare teams across multiple ICUs
• Handle phone call triage, data entry, and census reconciliation to ensure operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• BLS certification required
• High School diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant or college degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Previous healthcare, customer service, or call center experience preferred
• Basic typing and computer skills; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
