Blue Ports Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Blue Ports (Infrastructure and Environment) Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive infrastructure assessments in fishing ports to identify gaps and vulnerabilities
• Develop strategic infrastructure improvement plans aligned with sustainability and resilience objectives
• Facilitate multisectoral dialogues and stakeholder consultations to support environmentally friendly infrastructure development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (Civil) with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in port infrastructure assessment with an emphasis on sustainability and climate resilience
• Working knowledge of English and the relevant local Indian language
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 50001 and ISO 14001
• National of India or resident with work permit
