Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Corporate Development Leadership will provide strategic guidance on growth, partnerships, and investment themes while working remotely to support Healthcare Shares' mission-driven platform in healthcare innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and contribute thoughtful recommendations based on professional background and expertise
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, or related fields
- Senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating experience preferred
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, or innovation ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic, practical, and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month to board participation and strategic advisory activities
