Job Summary

Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Digital Surgery will provide strategic guidance on market opportunities, partnerships, and investment themes in a remote capacity while supporting healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
• Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy
• Participate in periodic board-related discussions and contribute thoughtful recommendations based on professional expertise

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, or related fields
• Senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
• Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, and innovation ecosystems
• Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
• Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month to board participation and advisory activities
