Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Health Plan CEO Leadership will provide strategic guidance and industry insight remotely to support the growth and direction of Healthcare Shares' venture capital and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, and founder support strategies
- Contribute leadership insight across various healthcare sectors, including digital health, biotech, and healthcare operations
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in healthcare, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields
- Preferred senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience
- Strong professional network within healthcare and investment ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation
