Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Limited Partner Strategy will provide strategic guidance on market opportunities, partnerships, and investment themes while working remotely to support Healthcare Shares' mission-driven platform focused on healthcare innovation and social impact.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, and founder support
- Contribute leadership insight across various healthcare sectors, including digital health, biotech, and healthcare AI
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields
- Senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
- Strong professional network within healthcare and investment ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation and advisory activities
