To support a dynamic team of expert reviewers, the remote Board Certified Colorectal Surgeon will evaluate medical records, provide clinical summaries, and engage in peer communications as a 1099 independent contractor with a customizable schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of clinical cases and evaluate medical records
- Provide clinical summaries and respond to specific questions from clients
- Engage in peer communications to support the review process
Required qualifications
- Current, unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in Colon & Rectal Surgery
- Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews is recommended but not required
- 5+ years of clinical practice with active engagement in the field
