Board-Certified Psychiatry Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatry Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and strategic direction for the psychiatry program, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
• Work a minimum of eight 12-hour shifts per month and provide additional backup coverage as needed
• Assist with recruitment, mentor team members, and engage in compliance and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) and Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Active medical state licenses in good standing and DEA license(s), if applicable
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience, with leadership experience preferred
• Experience using technology for virtual patient care and willingness to learn EMR tools
• Secure work environment, reliable internet connection, and necessary devices for video visits
