Job Summary
To support innovative respiratory clinical trials, a board-certified pulmonologist will provide expert clinical input on a contract basis, advising on protocol design, feasibility, safety oversight, and sponsor engagement in a fully remote, flexible role.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert review of respiratory trial protocols, advising on inclusion/exclusion criteria and safety monitoring
- Sense-check recruitment assumptions and advise on site and investigator selection within the respiratory community
- Lend clinical credibility to sponsor conversations and participate in feasibility calls and scientific discussions
Required qualifications
- Board-certified pulmonologist with an active US medical license and clinical practice experience in pulmonary or critical care medicine
- Meaningful exposure to clinical research, including roles such as principal investigator or scientific advisor
- Ability to translate clinical realities into research design and flag potential challenges
- Comfort with advising on respiratory indications and endpoints relevant to clinical trials
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
