Board-Certified Toxicologist
Job Summary
To support a growing oncology biotech, the contract Board-Certified Toxicologist will contribute to nonclinical strategy, study design, data interpretation, and toxicological risk assessment within a pharmaceutical environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement nonclinical strategies and study designs for toxicological assessments
- Interpret data and perform toxicological risk assessments across various endpoints
- Integrate diverse data types to formulate scientifically defensible conclusions regarding toxicity
Required qualifications
- PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline
- Current DABT (or equivalent board certification)
- 5+ years of relevant toxicology experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulatory agency
- Experience in designing and interpreting toxicology studies across multiple endpoints
- Strong understanding of FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory guidance
