Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Nutrition & Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical research efforts in collaboration with research institutions to support product claims and health benefits
• Analyze and publish research findings into whitepapers and translate results into actionable insights for internal teams and customers
• Drive nutrition-forward R&D by collaborating with Operations and Innovation teams to develop new products and optimize existing formulations

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certification by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (DACVIM - Nutrition) or a PhD in Animal Nutrition
• Proven track record leading clinical research and/or feeding trials with peer-reviewed journal publications
• Experience collaborating with pet brands on formulation R&D and familiarity with AAFCO
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a collaborative mindset
• Passionate about pet health and promoting preventive, nutrition-based care
