Job Summary

Seeking a board-certified veterinary writer, the full-time Clinical Monograph Writer will research, write, and revise high-quality clinical monographs remotely, collaborating with a team of veterinarians and editors to enhance veterinary decision-making tools.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, and revise 5-6 clinical monographs per month, targeting over 60 monographs during the term
• Collaborate with veterinarians, editors, and reviewers to refine each piece of content
• Respond to peer reviewer feedback and editorial input with professionalism and precision

Required qualifications

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent, with diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC)
• 5+ years of clinical experience, including specialty and general practice
• Proven experience in medical content development and review
• Strong understanding of peer-reviewed publishing and content production processes
• Proficiency with medical content management systems and digital tools
