Job Summary

To support e-commerce operations, the full-time Bookkeeper with Payroll Expertise will manage day-to-day financial transactions, oversee payroll processing, and ensure accurate month-end close while working remotely from Sri Lanka.

Key responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and manage collections while reconciling A/P and A/R aging reports
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards, ensuring accurate coding of transactions
  • Handle the complete payroll cycle, including wage calculations and tax filings, while maintaining accurate payroll records
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with US-based e-commerce companies
  • Proficiency in Xero and experience in high-volume transaction environments
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP bookkeeping standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience processing US payroll and filing federal and state payroll tax returns
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
