Borrower Account Services Representative

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer assistance, the full-time Borrower Account Services Representative will negotiate repayment arrangements, analyze borrower eligibility for federal programs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Counsels borrowers on repayment programs and analyzes eligibility based on financial situations
• Monitors accounts to ensure compliance with repayment agreements and regulatory guidelines
• Researches and responds to borrower correspondence, maintaining accurate records in the account management system

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or an associate degree preferred
• Two years of office experience in loan servicing, collections, or customer service
• Strong understanding of federal and state laws related to loan repayment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
