Borrower Account Services Representative

Job Summary

Providing essential support to borrowers, the full-time Borrower Account Services Representative will negotiate repayment arrangements, offer detailed program information, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist borrowers by providing information on repayment programs and analyzing eligibility for federal options
• Counsel borrowers on repayment importance and consequences of non-payment, while monitoring account compliance
• Research and respond to borrower correspondence, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to regulatory requirements

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
• Two years of office experience in loan servicing, collections, or customer service
• Strong understanding of federal and state laws related to loan repayment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
