Borrower Services Representative

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer assistance, the full-time Borrower Services Representative will negotiate and monitor repayment arrangements for borrowers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist borrowers by providing detailed information on repayment programs and analyzing eligibility for federal programs
• Counsel borrowers on repayment options based on their financial situations and monitor accounts to ensure compliance with agreements
• Research and respond to borrower correspondence while maintaining adherence to regulatory compliance and company policies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or an associate degree preferred
• Two years of office experience in loan servicing, collections, customer service, or financial services
• Strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations related to loan repayment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
