Bot Developer (Freelance)

Job Summary

To support the Tendem project, a part-time freelance Bot Developer (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord) will design, build, and refine messaging bots while collaborating with Tendem Agents to ensure reliability and user-friendliness in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build bots for messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord
• Design and implement conversational flows and integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses
• Connect bots to backend services, databases, and third-party APIs while ensuring reliability and error handling

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, automation, or bot development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is a plus
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience building bots for major messaging platforms
• Strong command of Python or Node.js for backend bot logic
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and databases for storing conversation state and user data
