BOT Project Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Engineer to support solar farm design and construction for build-own-transfer projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering lead for customer-contracted projects, managing contractor teams and ensuring technical execution aligns with contractual requirements
• Interpret technical agreement documents, translating requirements into internal scopes of work and coordinating across various stakeholders
• Maintain direct customer interface, support Independent Engineer reviews, and guide resolution of scope and technical disputes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc.) is required
• Approximately 5+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated technical ownership on complex projects
• Experience in supporting engineering or project delivery for large, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in energy or infrastructure
• Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and project agreement requirements
• Experience engaging with external stakeholders in technically and commercially sensitive environments
