Description:
Newsweek is looking for a branded content writer for a three-month contract. This is a full-time remote position open to experienced writers comfortable pitching, researching and writing custom content that meets both our high editorial standards and the goals of advertisers.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Research, write and proof editorial copy to support branded storytelling.
Collaborate with in-house creative team to develop content strategies that support marketing initiatives.
Communicate with editors regularly and maintain editorial rollout calendar
Qualifications
Minimum two years' experience in journalism, copywriting or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience writing branded content
Strong creative and critical-thinking skills
Versatility in comprehending and writing about a variety of topics, with a focus on culture and the arts
An understanding of the role of branded content in the prestige editorial space
Ability to multitask and work independently to meet rolling deadlines
