Job Summary
A company is looking for a Breaking News Reporter to join their fast-moving news desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Write two to three daily news blog posts, including breaking news coverage
- Co-host the flagship daily newsletter, providing commentary on national headlines
- Attend weekly audience team meetings and help set daily priorities with editors
Required Qualifications
- At least 37.5 hours/week availability, including some weekends
- Minimum of two years of newsroom or editorial experience
- Proven ability to publish multiple stories daily
- Strong news judgment and commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with publishing workflows and editorial tools
