Job Summary
Providing operational support for live sports programming, the full-time Sports Broadcast Operations Center Technician III will manage broadcast scheduling, signal acquisition, and quality assurance while working remotely and supporting multiple simultaneous live events.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, schedule, and execute live sports broadcasts across satellite and digital platforms, ensuring quality control and audio acquisition
- Operate and troubleshoot broadcast technologies to resolve issues quickly and minimize customer impact during live events
- Coordinate with various teams and third-party providers to prepare and support live broadcasts, documenting incidents and escalating operational risks as necessary
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in broadcast operations
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with digital audio editing, broadcast automation, and live sports broadcast operations
- Familiarity with broadcast technologies and incident management platforms
- Strong knowledge of North American professional and collegiate sports
