Broadcom Layer 7 API Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a senior-level Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateway Consultant for a remote contract position, the consultant will design and maintain API security policies, manage API lifecycle, and monitor traffic networks to ensure secure enterprise API integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced API security policies and routing matrices using Broadcom Layer 7 Policy Manager
• Oversee the onboarding and full lifecycle management of new APIs across the enterprise
• Monitor API traffic networks, audit security logs, and integrate with SIEM platforms for real-time threat response

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience engineering and configuring Broadcom Layer 7 API Gateways
• Demonstrated mastery of gateway policy authoring, assertion configuration, and threat protection mechanisms
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a highly technical, related discipline
• Experience deploying API gateways across multiple environments, including cloud infrastructure
• Functional understanding of network infrastructure and security topologies related to DMZ architecture
