Broadcom Proxy Engineer

Job Summary

Managing and modernizing secure web gateway infrastructure, the full-time Broadcom Proxy Engineer will migrate legacy proxy environments into hybrid cloud architectures, integrate DLP solutions, and automate routine tasks using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate legacy on-prem Broadcom/Blue Coat proxy infrastructure to hybrid cloud environments while ensuring seamless traffic flow and policy enforcement
• Integrate and tune Broadcom/Symantec DLP to monitor and prevent sensitive data loss across various channels
• Automate policy deployments and system health checks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Broadcom Proxy and DLP technologies
• Proficiency in migrating proxy infrastructures and redesigning traffic flows
• Experience in automating tasks using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell
• Knowledge of SSL inspection and policy enforcement in modern architectures
• Familiarity with triaging DLP incidents and refining detection rules
