Job Summary

A non-profit organization is seeking a Browser Software Engineer (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

Implementing new features and enhancements for the privacy-focused Mullvad Browser while maintaining user privacy and security
Improving Mullvad Browser's web compatibility
Collaborating with Mozilla to directly improve Firefox

Required Qualifications:

Experience in developing web browsers, preferably Firefox
Familiarity with web technologies and the same-origin model
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++, and Rust
Comfortable working remotely with a geographically distributed team
Experience interacting with users and other developers online
