Job Summary
Executing the BSA/AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment, the full-time remote BSA/AML Compliance Officer will analyze data, assess financial crime risks, and collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain expertise on AML/CFT laws and regulations while executing the BSA/AML and Sanctions Risk assessment
- Analyze large datasets to validate assessment inputs and assess inherent and residual risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve the risk assessment process and prepare executive-level reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, or Banking, or a High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes at federal and state levels
- Proficiency in data analysis and validation, particularly using advanced Excel skills
- Ability to develop and revise policies, procedures, and training materials
- Experience in preparing compliance documentation and reports
