Job Summary
Owning the end-to-end SAR and CTR filing program, the remote VP, Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) / Relationship Role BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations will lead the internal SAR team, manage external reviewer relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while overseeing the quality and timeliness of filings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the SAR and CTR filing program, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FinCEN requirements
- Lead the internal SAR team and oversee the escalation of potential SARs from external reviewers
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with OFAC/sanctions and data-handling policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD, or Master's) preferred
- CAMS certification required; CFE, CFCS, or CRCM preferred
- 10+ years of BSA/AML experience with direct SAR program ownership
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing investigators or filing teams
- Demonstrated experience in governing third-party review engagements, including offshore resources
