Job Summary
Overseeing compliance with BSA/AML regulations, the full-time remote BSA/AML Officer will manage the compliance program, including policy development, transaction monitoring, and staff training to prevent financial crimes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the BSA/AML compliance program, policies, and procedures
- Monitor customer transactions for suspicious activities and ensure timely reporting of Questionable Activity Reports (QARs)
- Conduct risk assessments and manage the Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a lead BSA role at a financial institution
- CAMS certification
- Knowledge of payment systems, including ACH and wires
- Strong research skills and ability to work independently
- High energy and a team player attitude
