Job Summary
Conducting investigations of merchant-level transactional activity, the full-time remote BSA/AML Operations Analyst will execute alert reviews, case investigations, and regulatory filings to identify potential suspicious behavior and financial crime risks within the acquiring portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate alerts and cases from transaction monitoring systems related to merchant acquiring activity, applying risk-based judgment to detect suspicious behavior
- Prepare and file SARs and CTRs accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Document investigative findings within case management systems and collaborate with BSA/AML peers to ensure comprehensive risk coverage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Accounting, Business, or related field
- CAMS or equivalent AML certification strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in BSA/AML investigations, transaction monitoring, or financial crimes compliance, preferably in merchant acquiring or payments
- Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, SAR/CTR filing requirements, and evolving merchant acquiring fraud typologies
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring and case management platforms such as Actimize or FCRM
