Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time BSA/AML Operations Analyst will conduct investigations and documentation of Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) cases, ensuring compliance with BSA and AML regulations while supporting the organization's risk management framework.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct SAM case investigations and enhanced due diligence, ensuring adherence to established SLAs and quality standards
- Document investigation outcomes in clear narratives aligned with regulatory expectations for senior management oversight
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and maintenance of BSA/AML policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) preferred
- Experience in BSA/AML operations and financial crimes investigations within a regulated financial institution
- Demonstrated experience conducting case investigations and preparing SAR referrals
- Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage queues and SLAs effectively
