BSA/AML Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) alert review function, the full-time remote BSA/AML Operations Manager will oversee alert review processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and lead a team of analysts in the execution of alert triage and disposition activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of analysts for SAM alert review, triage, and disposition activities
• Manage operational performance metrics, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards for alert processing
• Compile and report key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management oversight

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) preferred
• Solid experience in BSA/AML operations and transaction monitoring within a regulated financial institution
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising analysts
• Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage queues and staff capacity effectively
