BSA/AML Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the day-to-day operations, the remote Manager, BSA/AML Operations will oversee the Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) case investigation function, ensuring compliance with BSA and AML regulations while managing a team of analysts and enhancing the organization's compliance program.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts in SAM case investigations, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage case investigation performance, including volumes, aging, and quality, while meeting established SLAs
• Compile and report key risk and performance indicators for management and Board oversight

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications such as CAMS preferred
• Solid experience in BSA/AML operations and financial crimes investigations within a regulated financial institution
• Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising analysts
• Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage queues and staff capacity effectively
