BSA/AML Operations Risk Director

Job Summary

Leading critical support functions within BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations, the full-time remote BSA/AML Operations Risk Director will manage monitoring operations risk and governance reporting, ensuring the effectiveness of transaction monitoring and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring coverage assessments and ensure alignment with financial crime risks and regulatory expectations
• Direct partnerships with Data Analytics and Technology for rule tuning and operational policy lifecycle management
• Coordinate audit, validation, and regulatory exam readiness, ensuring timely and defensible responses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master's) preferred
• CAMS, CFCS, or equivalent financial crimes certification required
• 8+ years of experience in BSA/AML, financial crimes compliance, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring coverage assessments and policy/procedure development
• Strong knowledge of transaction monitoring systems and analytics/data concepts
