BSA Technology Director

Job Summary

Leading the BSA Technology function, the remote Director of BSA Technology will ensure the accurate implementation and performance monitoring of the Bank's screening models, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications and overseeing user acceptance testing and ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with BSA/AML stakeholders to translate screening strategy and program requirements into detailed functional specifications and business rules
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) for BSA/AML screening platform enhancements and ensure accurate generation of screening outcomes
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop a strategic roadmap for BSA/AML screening capabilities aligned with regulatory expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or related) preferred
• 10+ years of experience in BSA/AML, Financial Crimes, or risk management systems, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Strong working knowledge of BSA/AML screening platforms and financial crimes technologies
• Experience leading functional design activities and managing validation processes in a regulated environment
• Proven ability to communicate complex requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
