Budget Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Analyst with expertise in federal government budgeting and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze budgets to provide real-time financial status and insights
• Assist service owners with planning, tracking, and forecasting revenue and expenses
• Prepare Purchase Request packages and maintain financial documentation and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; 8 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• 6 years of general experience, including 3 years in budgeting or a similar field
• Experience with federal government commitments, obligations, and expenditures
• Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) and G-invoicing
• Proficient in government financial systems and expert-level Excel skills for financial analysis
