Budget Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze monthly financial performance and identify variances
• Prepare and coordinate monthly consultant accruals by verifying supporting documentation
• Assist in budget preparation and reconcile financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in complex financial analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in PC applications, with intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP financial modules, Peoplesoft, Oracle Essbase, and Hyperion
• Knowledge of GASB accounting principles
