Budget Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting customers in the preparation, reporting, monitoring, execution, and audit of program budgets, the remote Budget Analyst will manage Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) activities while collaborating with organizational leadership and teams to ensure compliance with DoD financial management policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all PPBE activities, financial reports, and accounting processes
• Manage the PMO's PPBE process to track resources throughout the PPBE cycle
• Analyze monthly reports and coordinate funding actions with Government Leads and Technical POCs

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 3+ years of experience as a budget/financial analyst
• Experience with GFEBS and financial databases
• Knowledge of Fiscal Law/Appropriation Law and Procurement appropriations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
