Budget Analyst II

Job Summary

Providing essential financial support for clinical research, the full-time remote Budget Analyst II will analyze, report, and model financial aspects of oncology clinical trials while collaborating with investigators to develop and negotiate comprehensive budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of budgeting policies and procedures for clinical trials
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making for clinical trial planning and execution
• Utilize financial modeling techniques to assess resource allocation scenarios and provide recommendations for optimized trial outcomes

Required qualifications

• Six years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus two years of experience
• Working knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems
• Ability to perform basic financial analysis assignments and gather retrievable information
• Demonstrated experience using spreadsheet and database software for financial analysis and reporting
• Intermediate knowledge of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources
