Budget Execution Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Execution Analyst to support a federal government client located in Silver Spring, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budget execution for NESDIS programs and assist in preparing annual budget requests
• Provide project management for NOAA/NESDIS funding execution and performance
• Analyze data to understand trends and forecast potential budget issues while summarizing quantitative data for reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 8-10 years of experience in budget support for a government agency or equivalent
• Experience with Oracle-based financial systems
• Understanding of the federal budget process
• Ability to create user-friendly spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations from data
• Proficiency in utilizing financial systems for reporting and analysis
