Budget Execution Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting NOAA in a hybrid/remote capacity, the full-time Budget Execution Analyst will manage budget planning and execution for NESDIS, create and maintain financial tools, and analyze data to forecast budget issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee budget execution for NESDIS programs and assist in preparing annual budget requests
• Provide project management over NOAA/NESDIS funding execution and performance
• Collaborate with NESDIS program offices to monitor funding timing and execution

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of experience in budget support for a government agency or equivalent
• Experience with Oracle-based financial systems
• Understanding of the federal budget process
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a government agency background check
