Build and Release Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Build and Release Engineer to manage tools and systems for continuous integration, testing, and release.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the deployment pipeline for efficient software deployment to cloud and on-premise environments
• Create and maintain documentation for the release process, including build and deployment instructions
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth release process and set up CI/CD pipelines for automation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software/build/release engineering for multi-tier applications
• Experience developing for Linux/Unix/Windows OS
• Proficiency with Git and scripting in Python and Bash
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or Postgres and container technologies like Docker
