Build Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Build Engineer to support large-scale weapon systems and IT systems for the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and establish configuration management documentation and baselines
• Perform software builds, authorize releases, and maintain build environments
• Develop scripts to automate processes for software build and release efficiencies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8-12 years of experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience
• US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Experience managing Git-based software repositories and development with scripting languages
• Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience in Agile development
• Proven ability to define and implement Software Configuration Management processes
