Build & Release Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Build & Release Support Engineer specializing in CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for build and release systems, managing Slack threads and tickets
• Diagnose and resolve complex build, packaging, or artifact issues independently
• Maintain and develop documentation and knowledge resources for recurring problems

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Build/Release Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software development
• Proficiency in Git and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Strong understanding of Maven, Java build systems, and software supply chain lifecycle
• Experience with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and scripting (Python/Bash)
• Solid Linux/Unix command-line skills
