Builder Risk Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Builder & Contractor Risk Specialist, responsible for conducting risk evaluations and due diligence for builders and contractors in construction and renovation lending programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive due diligence reviews of builders and contractors
• Perform credit reviews and verify compliance with licensing and insurance requirements
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of approved builders and contractors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in risk review or vendor due diligence within the mortgage or construction lending industry
• Proven ability to review financial and compliance documentation
• Familiarity with construction loan programs and third-party risk standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and risk management platforms
