Building Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Design Engineer - BAS.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed building automation system designs based on project specifications and mechanical plans
• Create intuitive system graphics and user interfaces for building automation platforms
• Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate design deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related field
• Strong experience with BAS design tools (e.g., Visio, Niagara N4, Distech GFX/Designer)
• Understanding of BAS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, or similar
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and sequences of operation
• Experience developing controls graphics and user interfaces preferred
