Job Summary
Supporting the design and implementation of Building Automation Systems (BAS), the remote Building Controls Design Engineer will assist with system configuration, programming, integration, and troubleshooting while collaborating with senior engineers and project leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with controls engineering tasks including system configuration, programming support, and documentation
- Contribute to project delivery through testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BAS deployments
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure secure and reliable smart building systems
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in building automation systems engineering or related technical work
- Working knowledge of Tridium Niagara (N4) framework and compatible platforms
- Basic understanding of open protocol BAS architectures using BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
- Ability to support controls design deliverables including sequences of operation and system integration documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
