Building Systems Engineer Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team in the design and management of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), the full-time Building Systems Engineer Manager will oversee project execution, ensure system efficiency, and align engineering efforts with organizational goals, primarily working remotely with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of building systems engineers, providing guidance on technical issues and project management
• Direct the planning, execution, and completion of BMS and EPMS projects, including managing budgets and resources
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing BMS and EPMS to improve energy efficiency and operational performance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in building systems engineering with significant project management experience in BMS and EPMS
• Strong expertise in BMS and EPMS technologies, with proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Preferred certifications include BMS/EPMS Manufacture Training/Certification, HVAC/Electrical equipment, LEED, or CEM
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
