Bureau Producer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with reporters and talent in the field, the full-time remote Bureau Producer will produce accurate and compelling video content for ESPN's linear and digital platforms while utilizing technical expertise and creativity to manage shoots without traditional crew support.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce video content that meets ESPN's editorial standards by working with reporters and talent in the field
• Communicate effectively with camera crews and support positions to align efforts in video production
• Proactively pitch ideas, write and edit scripts, and collaborate with producers to formulate questions for anchors

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressively complex related studio or production experience
• Strong production skills related to sporting events and exceptional news judgment
• Established knowledge of sports and sports history, along with detailed technical knowledge of television production techniques
• Fluency in social media and popular culture
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
