Job Summary
Collaborating closely with reporters and talent, the full-time remote Bureau Producer will produce accurate and compelling video content for ESPN's linear and digital platforms, utilizing technical expertise and creativity to deliver content without traditional crew support.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce engaging video content in collaboration with reporters and talent, ensuring adherence to ESPN's editorial standards
- Communicate effectively with camera crews and support positions to align efforts in the field
- Pitch story ideas, write and edit scripts, and coordinate with digital/social teams to deliver content across multiple platforms
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively complex related studio or production experience
- Strong production skills related to sporting events and exceptional news judgment
- Established knowledge of sports and sports history
- Detailed technical knowledge of television production techniques and real-time sports news production processes
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
