Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support an enterprise Pega-based modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Business Analyst will manage requirements elicitation, documentation, and analysis while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate workshops and sessions to gather and validate requirements from various stakeholders
• Develop and maintain requirements-management artifacts, including use cases and acceptance criteria
• Analyze business processes and decompose needs into implementation-ready backlog items

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in software or systems delivery
• Proven experience in eliciting and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business processes into actionable guidance
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
