Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between project resources and various business units in the Property and Casualty Insurance field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and lead requirements gathering sessions to define business requirements for system development
• Produce high-quality documentation of business functional requirements for application developers and programmers
• Act as a liaison between the business community and development teams, translating business language into technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration or Information Systems
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a Property and Casualty Insurance business environment
• Experience with business analysis methodology, process improvement, project management, and industry-related tools
• Direct experience working with Policy Administration software applications
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
